After implementing Act! solutions for over 6000 businesses, we have the experience and expertise in a vast array of business environments. We have tried and tested methods that are continually reviewed to ensure that our services are of the highest standard.

Allow approximately 1-2 hours for the server installation plus around 20-30 minutes per workstation. The time required to set-up synchronisation (if required) will depend on the number of records in the database as well as performance of the hardware processing the data.

An effective Contact Management system is an essential component for any successful business. To achieve results, it is vital that the system is implemented correctly and customised to suit your specific business requirements. This will result in fast adoption by the staff, increased productivity and a prompt return on your investment.

Many Contact Management initiatives fail because the implementation was limited to the software installation. A successful implementation requires careful consultation, support, and training to take full advantage of the database.

To ensure your implementation is well received, your trainer will provide “hands on” user training. This is best conducted in in 2 sessions. The initial 3 hour session followed by a 2 hour session. Users will learn how to use Act! to fulfill your business processes.

Training can be tailored to your specific business use of Act!. The training can be either at your premises or off-site at a dedicated training centre should your office not have suitable facilities for a productive training environment. For group training, it is recommended that each person have access to a computer for “hands-on” training to maximise the benefits of instruction. A data projector is also desirable. An Act! User Guide for can be provided at $65.00 per copy.

It is assumed that your users will have basic windows knowledge prior to any training.

Additional training is highly recommended for administration and advanced user functions. This service is provided on an “as needed basis” at the normal hourly rate, but we suggest that you allow at least 2 hours for this follow up training session during the first couple of months, to help you get the most from Act!.

We like to call your Administrator your Act! Champion. They will be provided Administrator training. This is typically a one hour session however will vary depending on the Administrators skill sets.

The support program has been put together with 2 aims in mind. Firstly, for the consultant to be proactive and work with clients, helping them to optimise their use of Act!, and secondly, to provide priority support as issues arise. If the assigned client consultant is not available, the issue can be escalated to a secondary consultant.

The major benefit of a Support Plan is that every Act! user in your business will have priority access to one of our expert Act! consultants. Your consultant will then contact you quarterly (if you don’t call first) to offer assistance and/or preventative maintenance to improve your use of the solution ensuring a greater return on your Act! investment.

If you do not want to sign up for an annual support package, we can provide remote and on-site support on an adhoc basis.
